Background

Among all steel materials, more than half need to be rolled and formed, which must be done by a rolling mill. Rollers are the most important component of rolling mills. During rolling and forming, the rollers are in direct contact with the rolled piece, causing plastic deformation. The service conditions are relatively poor. They are the main consumable and vulnerable parts on the rolling mill, accounting for 10% to 15% of the rolling cost. Therefore, the quality of the rollers and the improvement of production efficiency are very important. The main feature of centrifugal casting rollers is that the liquid outer layer material and the core material are poured into the mold at a certain time interval. The centrifuge stop temperature and time, the interval time for pouring the roller core metal liquid, the pouring temperature, the uniformity of the working layer thickness, and the prevention of segregation of outer layer elements and oxidation of the interface between the inner and outer layer materials are the keys to the success of this method of manufacturing rollers.
Practice has shown that the centrifugal casting of rollers will be greatly affected by the lack of knowledge of the centrifuge stop temperature control, roller core pouring temperature, pouring time and thickness uniformity of the nickel-chromium rolled steel working layer. At present, many roller factories use manual handheld thermometers to measure, which is not only inefficient, but also has the risk of being injured by splashing high-temperature solutions. Therefore, the use of infrared thermal imagers to achieve online rapid detection and diagnosis can timely detect temperature changes in the equipment, ensure the control of the centrifuge stop temperature, pouring temperature, time and thickness uniformity, and timely avoid safety accidents, ensuring high-quality production operations.

Product Description

HIRDA-R Roller Centrifugal Casting Infrared Thermal Imaging Detection System is a high-tech system specially used to detect the temperature changes during centrifugal roll casting and conduct intelligent analysis. The system consists of a high-temperature infrared thermal imaging thermometer, a thermal imager control cabinet, an algorithm server, and client management software. It centrally monitors and manages the equipment on the job site, and realizes functions such as temperature data collection, analysis, high temperature point positioning, and automatic alarm for the rolls through a digital transmission network. After actual use, this system has successfully increased the qualified rate of rolls produced by a certain roll factory from 70% to 93%.

Open interface, SDK development kit is provided, and it can be connected to DCS, PLC and other systems.
